Ronna Hope Warsh – BIOGRAPHY
Ronna Hope Warsh has a depth of experience in human services in a variety of leadership roles. She has worked in non-profit agencies, and in both front-line and senior management roles at the municipal and provincial levels of government. During her tenure, she has collaborated with agencies that provide health care, child welfare, employment, social housing, developmental services, child-care and children’s mental health services. She has also been a leader on several Boards of Directors in a volunteer capacity. During her career, Ronna secured millions of dollars which helped to build better communities for vulnerable people.
Ronna has mentored and developed many staff that blossomed into great leaders. She has developed strong collaborative teams who have worked with her to improve service delivery. She understands the changing landscape in the non-profit/public sector world and is a strategic thinker. She is a strong proponent of collaborative partnerships and, using this strategy, has been able to effectively leverage resources resulting in many innovative new programs.
Ronna held the position of Community Development and Health Commissioner for the City of Windsor, where she was responsible for 850 staff and a budget of $250 million. She was known as an inventive and transparent leader.
Ronna received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Ontario Municipal Social Services Association and a Community Service Award from Community Living Windsor. In 2014, she was appointed to the Ontario College of Teachers as a Board member.
Ronna has a coaching certificate from the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching, and she provides coaching to people on an individual basis, enabling them to move forward toward attaining their leadership goals. She is also certified to administer and interpret results from a number of Human Synergistics Leadership and Organizational Culture tools.
Ronna works with a number of public sector agencies, delivering workshops and managing progressive projects. She also provides strategic advice to organizations, based on her years of experience as an executive leader.
Janis G. Windsor – BIOGRAPHY
Janis G. Windsor is the president of Windsor & Company, an executive coaching and consulting firm specializing in leading organizational change.
As a trusted business advisor, Janis helps organizations, business leaders and front-line workers to implement large-scale change initiatives. She works with Change Leaders through every step of the process, helping them to remain focused, aligned and engaged.
Janis has dedicated her entire career to studying what makes businesses and their leaders successful. She has worked with some of the largest and most successful companies in the world. Her clients include Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, AON Reed Stenhouse, Scotiabank, Habitat for Humanity, Starbucks, American Express, Family Service Canada, fseap, Green Shield Canada, CNIB, Workplace Safety Insurance Board (WSIB), Brock University, St. Clair College, Windsor Regional Hospital, Erie St. Clair LHIN, and Canadian Mental Health Association.
In 2014, Janis assisted in the development of one of the first “Community Hubs” in Ontario, working with four not-for-profit agencies to collaborate and integrate their services under one roof to better serve their clients. Janis worked with the executive leadership team to develop a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Strategic Management Plan, and Policies and Procedures to support the future growth of the Community Hub. These documents would become the cornerstone foundation and commitment for the four independent agencies to further collaborate and integrate their services in the best interest of their clients and the community.
Janis held the position of Entrepreneur in Residence for St. Clair College EPIC Genesis Entrepreneurship Centre in 2018 and 2019, where she mentored students and alumni who are interested in starting a small business, or have an idea for a new product or service they want to explore.
Janis is a graduate of Lesley College School of Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts where she obtained a Masters Degree in Training & Development. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Windsor’s Odette School of Business.
